Hi all, I've packaged up an early beta of a Java client for the Connotea API. There are still a few outstanding "todos" (e.g. write a proper unit test for the main client class ;D) but it is basically ready and comments from anyone who wants to try it out now would be very welcome.
At present, there is only a pre-compiled jar and javadocs. The source etc will be made available as soon as we have found a permanent home and determined what licence the code should be released under etc etc. Temporary homes for both of the above: jar file: http://nascent.nature.com/connotea/connotea.jar api docs: http://nascent.nature.com/connotea/api/ Please do try it out and report back any bugs you encounter to this list, or directly to me (via author link in api docs). Likewise, if there are any glaring omissions or misrepresentations of the Connotea API, just let me know.
