I'm investigating the use of synthetic/natural consolidants for a small conservation project involving paper and parchment Ketubahs with flaking gold and extensive pigment loss. I'd like to know your experience on the use of nebulized consolidants in particular, and what are your thoughts on employing Bermocoll and Funori on parchment. I look forward reading about your experience and if possible I'd appreciate details of suppliers you'd use if you were in the U.K./Europe.
