Book and paper conservation business for sale in Auckland, New Zealand from an
ICON accredited conservator.

We are looking for expressions of interest from qualified book and archive
conservators for our conservation business based in Auckland, New Zealand that
is for sale as we are going to be returning to the UK to live next year.

This is an exciting opportunity to live and work in a lovely city in a
beautiful country:

- our business was established eleven years ago in 2005 and we have a
reputation for excellence and professionalism.
- our current annual turnover is over NZ$183,000.00 (approximately
US$130,000.00 or 104,000.00 GB pounds sterling per year at the current exchange
rate).
- the work is varied including conservation treatments, digitisation, training,
preservation services, collection assessment, consultancy as well as
commissioned bindings.
- the business currently operates with one full-time, ICON accredited
conservator and one full-time administrator.
- although we are based in Auckland and primarily receive work from
institutions here we also receive work from individuals and institutions from
all of New Zealand.
- there are visa options for emigrating to New Zealand when buying a business
in a specialist area of employment such as ours.

Please send expressions of interest to Paul Taylor and Terry Bowden at
[email protected].

Please feel free to pass this information on to any suitably qualified book and
archive conservator you think may be interested.

Thank you and kind regards
