Rebecca D'Ambrosio asks: We are looking for alternatives for labelling modern books in libraries that are non-adhesive. Has anyone heard of or use non-adhesive methods to label their books? We would really appreciate any ideas and opinions on this issue.
I'm not sure whether you're looking for a totally non-invasive labelling method, or just one that doesn't involve adhesive labels. If the latter, the British Library uses an ink-jet marker to label modern books and items such as CDs that are hard to label by other means.
