Does anyone have experience of providing discreet security for books in
historic interiors, taking into consideration that the bookshelves cannot be
altered or tampered with? I have used boards made of hardboard or acrylic,
with fishing-line strung between them, and pressure-pad alarms but there is
not always space for methods that require boards and alarm systems are not
always appropriate.
