The Preservation Directorate is rightsizing their collection by eliminating
titles held within the Library of Congress collection. That means that some
preservation research titles will be surplused through the LOC surplus program.
I wanted to alert the preservation community who might wish to fill in their
own collections on research and preservation publications. This project will
be on going for the rest of this year and titles will be surplused on a
regular, biweekly basis. The Surplus Books Program is for U.S. libraries only.
See http://www.loc.gov/acq/surplus.html for more information about this
program.
