Conservators at National Records of Scotland would appreciate comments from colleagues about the use of leaf casting. How much/often do you use it? What type of objects do you use leaf casting with? What advantages and/or disadvantages have you have experienced? As compared to traditional hand cutting of intricate repairs, has leaf casting actually allowed you to save time?
