Does anyone know of or can recommend a workshop or craftsman in Southern
California who is capable of making replica pieces for historic furniture?
Our studio is currently working on a Spanish Revival-style wood bench and a
spindle needs to be refabricated to replace a missing one. We've tried
contacting every woodshop that we can find online and none of them are
willing to do wood turning or particularly detailed work. If anyone has
any suggestions, that would be great! Alternatively, if anyone knows of a
woodworker outside of southern CA who has experience working in furniture
conservation/restoration, that would also be excellent. We've started
running out of ideas.
