The Society of Gilders is holding its biennial conference in Arlington, TX from 
5 June through 10 June, 2017 osted by the University of Texas at Arlington's 
Art and Art History  Department, this weeklong conference has intensive 
hands-on classes covering such diverse disciplines as Verre Eglomisé, Gesso 
Recutting, Toning of gilded surfaces, Oil gilding, water gilding and much more. 
Instructors are top professionals from across the US and overseas. Many of 
these classes cannot be found anywhere else.

There will also be lectures and a hands-on community gilding project for
