REMINDER – deadline for call for contributions: 31 May 2017 We would like to remind interested colleagues to submit their abstracts for our conference ‚Tempera painting between 1800 and 1950. Experiments and innovations from the Nazarene movement to abstract art‘ until 31 May 2017. The conference will take place from 15–17 March 2018 at the Pinakothek der Moderne in Munich, Germany. It will offer a vivid platform to explore the revival of tempera painting between 1800 and 1950 from the perspectives of art history, technical art history, conservation and material analysis.
