Aplar 6 Laser conference takes place in September of this year in Florence, Italy and El.En. Lasers will be opening their doors to conservators interested in trying out their various systems on the 11th-13th and the 16th. El.En. is located in Calenzano, a 15 minute train and short taxi/Uber ride from Florence. For those of us who speak little Italian, there will be simultaneous Italian/English translation at the conference. If you have been interested in trying Nd:YAG or Er:YAG lasers, El.En. makes a variety of systems and this is a great opportunity to bring your own samples and compare them.
