As part of a large collection move of 300,00 objects at the Science Museum Blythe House store, we are going to start using barcodes for location tracking the collections. As we have a tight timetable and many objects we are using low intensity solutions. We will be attaching self-adhesive barcodes to labels, which will be simply tied onto our 3D objects. I wanted to seek any experiences or recommendations regarding barcoding non 3D objects, for example loose sheets of paper and artworks.
