Good Morning,
As part of my MA Conservation of Historic Objects qualification, I am looking into the ways public engagement related to the conservation and restoration of ceramics has been approached. My dissertation aims to look at how the physicality of a real ceramic object can be utilised, so that members of the public can learn more about conservation and restoration procedures in a directly ‘hands on’ manner. I am interested to discover what initiatives or approaches have been adopted before to engage public audiences with this material specialism, as I am looking to develop and improve upon how this could be achieved in the future. If you are a museum or organisation that has a collection of ceramic objects, I would really value your opinion. The survey consists of 10 questions and should take approximately 10-15 minutes to complete. You can complete the survey by following the link below: https://esurv.org/online-survey.php?surveyID=MIHEII_51adb0a8 If you have any questions about my research, or have any difficulties with the survey itself, please feel free to contact me at: 12370...@students.lincoln.ac.uk Thank you in advance for taking the time to contribute to my research.
