We are investigating the possibility of replacing our aginghandheld XRF
machine. Our current machine is a Bruker, but over time, we have receivedlittle
to no technical support from the company with our broken machine otherthan to
be told to just buy the newest model. (It is an older model that hooksup to a
laptop. Most of our trouble is with the laptop and very slowprocessing). Our
concern is that if we go the Bruker route, we will continue toreceive no
technical support should we need assistance with the machine as itages.

I am writing to ask if anyone has any input on purchasing an XRF machine?
IsBruker pretty much the go-to in the conservation field, or is anyone aware
ofother possibilities with better technical support? What have you gone with,
andwould you recommend it? Any input or advice you can offer will be
appreciated.

Replies can be sent directly to me. Thank you.
