Architectural Plaster Restoration & Conservation Workshop Brooklyn, NY Thursday, September 28, 2017 9:30am – 4:30pm
An intensive full day workshop with visual presentations, studio demonstrations, and hands-on activities. Gain an understanding of investigating, documenting, designing, repairing, and replicating historic plaster elements and painted finishes. Learn about factors to consider developing treatment options, drawings, specifications, samples, and mock ups. Solutions for integrating new acoustic plaster and historic plaster will also be explored. Each participant will receive study materials and a bibliography. This workshop qualifies for 6 LU/HSW credits. Breakfast and lunch are included in the registration fee. Optional reception will follow.
