Tickets are still available for the ICON Ethnography Group Talk and AGM :
Conservation and Communities in the Balkans

Tuesday 26th September 6:30pm until 9:30pm

The Theatre Showroom

October Gallery, 24 Old Gloucester Street

London, WC1N 3AL

Tickets:

Icon member: GBP10

Non-member: GBP15

The talk will be given by Alex Cantrill and Helen Merrett on heritage
preservation work in the Balkans undertaken through Cultural Heritage Without
Borders (CHwB).

Cultural Heritage without Borders are an independent Swedish non-governmental
organisation who have been running award winning Regional Restoration Camps
throughout the Balkans since 2007. This is a great opportunity to learn about
the practical impact of CHwB conservation camps and the work they do in
bridging communities in a region that has been in conflict.

The talk will be followed by our group AGM where the Ethnography committee will
update members on recent and future group activities. Free wine, soft drinks
and snacks will be served. This will be a great chance to socialise with group
and committee members, so please do come and join us!
