A one-day meeting will be held at the National Gallery, London, on 8 November 2017 entitled 'Access to scientific technologies and resources for cultural heritage research through the IPERION CH project'. IPERION is an EU project funded under the Horizon2020 programme. The meeting will be an opportunity to hear from Users of the IPERION transnational access programme, who will talk about projects that benefited from access to either MOLAB (a suite of portable non-invasive instruments for analysis and imaging), ARCHLAB (archives of technical documentation held at major cultural institutions in Europe) or FIXLAB (large-scale synchrotron and neutron facilities). The final session at the meeting will focus on an important initiative for the future, a permanent European Research Infrastructure for Heritage Science (www.e-rihs.eu), which is currently being constructed.
The draft programme for the meeting can be found on the IPERION website at http://www.iperionch.eu/iperion-ch-2nd-transnational-access-users-meeting/ There is no registration fee for the meeting.
