The New York Academy of Medicine is pleased to host the following lecture on
Wednesday afternoon, October 18th, 2017 from 3-5pm:

Engaging Audiences with Hybrid Collections: Archives, Books, Artifacts, Artworks

One of the challenges facing the library, archive and museum professional
community at this time is how best to manage, provide access to, and promote
interest in collections that span multiple kinds of material object; whether
archives, books, artifacts, or visual arts. This talk will address work in this
area, through analog and digital approaches, at the Hagstromer Medico
Historical Library and Unit for Medical History and Heritage at Karolinska
Institutet in Stockholm, Sweden.
