Position: Assistant Collection Care Development Officer Fixed term until 31 March 2018 Salary: £23,196 per annum This is a fantastic opportunity to work in the Department of Conservation and Collection Care, to support the ACE Collection Care programme to London Regional Museums. The role will assist with the delivery of the regional Collection Cleaning Course, which will run for 10 weeks from January to March 2018. The post will also undertake a review and update of the regional environmental monitoring equipment loan bank ready to go online. As well as assisting the Regional Collection Care Development Officer with provision of strategic and practical collection care support and advice to London's regional museums, and assisting in the creation and delivery of additional training sessions for regional museum staff in a range of collection care subjects. We are looking for someone who is educated to degree level or equivalent in Conservation or Collection Care with some experience in delivering training. Also essential are excellent communication skills, including the ability to explain conservation and collection care techniques clearly and concisely in both written and spoken form with people at all levels.
