Hello All, My name is May Colville and I am a student at the University of Canberra, Australia enrolled in the Bachelor of Heritage, Museum and Conservation Studies.
In January I am undertaking a cosnervation project that includes dealing with water-logged silk. I have so far been unable to find any literature on handling or conserving water-logged silk. My supervisor suggested reaching out through the ConsDistList to see if any one was working on this topic, or if they have previously had to deal with this and what they found?
