------------------ Head of Conservation and Preservation (Ref U80435) The University of Glasgow Library This is an exciting new opportunity for an experienced conservator to manage and develop conservation and preservation services for the University of Glasgow Library’s world class Archives and Special Collections. The postholder will be responsible for the direction and leadership of a small team, and will lead on planning specialist interventive care across the collections, developing collection care policies, devising funding bids and overseeing a digitisation programme to help maximise access to a range of heritage material both physically and digitally. An excellent communicator and problem solver, the postholder will also participate in promoting the collections within the University and in the wider academic and public community.
