IWM tells the stories of people who have lived, fought and died in conflicts
involving Britain and the Commonwealth since 1914. Through the powerful stories
and experiences in our unique collections, we challenge people to look at war
and conflict from different perspectives.

We are looking for a conservator (objects) to join the team at IWM from January
2018 on a 3 year contract to support phase 2 of transforming IWM London
(TIWML2). The post holder will be responsible for co-ordinating conservation
and collections care information and feedback in support of design development.
They will also undertake conservation treatment, condition reports and surveys
to support the preparation of objects for the Second World War and Holocaust
Galleries. The post-holder will be based at IWM Duxford from January 2018 but
will be required to work at any of the Museum's sites as directed. It is
desirable that applicants have experience of project work.
