Dear Colleagues
Does anybody have experience of using solvent replacement products in
conservation treatments - specifically acetone alternatives?
Our lab needs to move away from its reliance on traditional solvents but the UK
currently seems to have fewer options than the US. Bio-Solve is available and
is described as an ethyl lactate blend which is non-hazardous, non-flammable
and recyclable with high solvent power.
Any thoughts or experiences shared would be greatly appreciated.
Many thanks

Alison Draper
