Are you an enthusiastic and knowledgeable conservator? Do you have experience 
of 3-d object remedial conservation treatment and an understanding of Health 
and Safety practice?

One Collection is the Science Museum Group's major strategic initiative to 
re-imagine how our world-leading collection is cared for, accessed and shared. 
As part of this exciting project we are looking for an enthusiastic and 
knowledgeable senior conservator to work alongside our project inventory and 
conservation teams to pack and move the collection.

Working with Science Museum Group policies and protocols, you will be 
conserving items in the collection and ensuring they are safe for handling and 
moving. You will be involved in all aspects of planning and completing 
conservation treatments. You will ensure your team is working safely themselves 
and with other colleagues and is keeping the collection safe throughout the 
packing and move.

As well as a conservation qualification or relevant experience, you will have 
knowledge of the practical application of UK Health and Safety in all areas 
relevant to the collections move. You will have experience of managing staff 
and the ability to work calmly under pressure to meet deadlines, as well as 
outstanding interpersonal skills.
