You are cordially invited to submit abstracts for presentations at the
Material Science and Technology (MS&T) 2018 Conference in Columbus, OH on
October 14-18, 2018; please see: http://www.matscitech.org/
At this conference, the Art, Archaeology and Conservation Science Division
of the American Ceramic Society is sponsoring a two-day Special Topics
Symposium called "Art and Cultural Heritage: Reverse Engineering", please
see: http://www.matscitech.org/technical-program/special-topics/
This two day symposium will highlight both the latest studies involved with
the reverse engineering of cultural heritage and the newest discoveries in
the scientific study of cultural heritage. This two day symposium will
feature the newest findings surrounding the technology, engineering and
materials associated with art, archaeology and cultural heritage, including
pigments, ceramics, glass, and metals. Also, submissions that explore
innovative approaches to training and learning at the intersection of
engineering, science, technology and cultural heritage are most welcome.
All submissions that pertain to the scientific study of cultural heritage,
or advance its understanding and preservation, will be considered.

Please submit your abstract by March 15, 2018, using this link:

As the leading forum addressing structure, properties, processing and
performance across the materials community, MS&T brings together
scientists, engineers, students, suppliers and more to discuss current
research and technical applications, and to shape the future of materials
science and technology. It is organized in a joint partnership between five
leading materials science-related societies – ACerS, AIST, ASM
International, MetSoc, and TMS.
