Do you have experience in conservation and collections care, and a passion to 
work amongst our world-renowned and extensive collection?

One Collection is the Science Museum Group's major strategic initiative to 
re-imagine how our world-leading collection is cared for, accessed and shared. 
As part of this exciting project we are looking for a Conservator to work with 
our project inventory and conservation teams, ensuring our collection is cared 
for during a period of unprecedented movement and change.

As part of this, you will be responsible for condition surveying the 
collection, working alongside our Hazards team to identify objects that 
potentially require further protection, whilst mentoring and training 
volunteers and internal stakeholders on collection management best practice.

You will have practical experience of 3D object remedial conservation treatment 
and a good knowledge of current Health and Safety legislation. You will also be 
able to work to deadlines and have excellent interpersonal and communication 
skills.
