conservation of cultural heritage, and the only institution of its kind
with a worldwide mandate to promote the conservation of all types of
heritage. ICCROM exists to serve the international community as

Over the past 20 years, ICCROM has worked with partners to develop new
conservation methodologies including people-centred approaches to
conservation, conservation of historic urban landscapes, and integrated
approaches to the conservation of cultural and natural heritage. During

been developed such as PREMA, Terra, AFRICA 2009, the Integrated
Territorial and Urban Conservation (ITUC) Programme, the Living Heritage
Sites Programme, Conservation of Sounds and Images (SOIMA), Re-Org, and
World Heritage Leadership. For further information about ICCROM,
