Newly acquired conservation titles available in the Getty Research Library's Conservation Collection
Every month the Getty Conservation Institute (GCI) acquires new research materials for the Conservation Collection, housed in the Research Library at the Getty Research Institute (GRI). The collection represents an ongoing collaboration between the GCI and the GRI to acquire and retain critical resources required to fulfill the long-term research and scholarship needs of the international conservation community. With its emphasis on conservation, management, and protection of cultural property, both movable (held by museums or libraries) and immovable (architecture, cultural heritage sites), the collection complements the general and special collections of the Research Library that focus on the history of the visual arts, architecture, archaeology, and the humanities.
