Registration Fee: $100 Catered Lunch Option for Both Days: $30* Description The Modular Cleaning Program is a systematic approach to cleaning works of art utilizing water-borne systems, solvents, solvent gels, emulsions, and silicone-based microemulsions. The freely available database, The Modular Cleaning Program, assists the conservator in formulating and combining stock solutions which allows the conservator to create optimized cleaning solutions for more precise and tailored treatments. Hosted by The Conservation Center, this two-day intensive course is a supplement to the main MCP workshop and is designed for people who have already been introduced to MCP, but wish to further their understanding and learn of new components of the program. The course will be comprised of theory-based lectures and demonstrations. No testing kits will be made during this course.
