Description
The Modular Cleaning Program is a systematic approach to cleaning works of art
utilizing water-borne systems, solvents, solvent gels, emulsions, and
silicone-based microemulsions. The freely available database, The Modular
Cleaning Program, assists the conservator in formulating and combining stock
solutions which allows the conservator to create optimized cleaning solutions
for more precise and tailored treatments.

Hosted by The Conservation Center, this two-day intensive course is a
supplement to the main MCP workshop and is designed for people who have already
been introduced to MCP, but wish to further their understanding and learn of
new components of the program. The course will be comprised of theory-based
lectures and demonstrations. No testing kits will be made during this course.

Please RSVP by Thursday May 3rd
(312) 944-5401 or [email protected]
Payment can be made by cash, check, or credit card before start of workshop.
