The successful candidate will work in the LARHRA-UMR 5190. She/he will be part of the European project SILKNOW funded by the call for projects H2020-SC6-CULT-COOP-2017. Within the LARHRA, her/his activity will be carried out in collaboration with the members of the research center involved in the project: Natacha Coquery, professor at the University Lumière Lyon 2, Florence Charpigny, research engineer and Pierre Vernus, associate professor at the University Lumière Lyon 2, project coordinator for the LARHRA who will supervise her/his activity. Activities successful candidate will •animate and develop the network of relations with European heritage institutions partners or likely to collaborate in the project ; •research and collect data that can be mobilized within the project ; •participate in the modelling of silk fabrics production and description (based on the CIDOC Conceptual Reference Model). •participate in managing and developping the research project.•participate in organizing the meetings that LARHRA is responsible for. •participate in the project meetings. •contribute to coordinate work with other partners. •contribute to the preparing and drafting of written reports. Experiences and skills •Master and doctorate in history or art history along with training and/or experience in the field of digital humanities, particularly in data modelling. Competence in the field of textile history will be highly appreciated. •Ability to work as part of a team and to carry out tasks independently. •Ability to lead a network and organize meetings. •The candidate’s curriculum must show her/his open-minded to new fields and to rapidly develop skills. •Fluency in English and French •Basic practice of a computer language such as Python or R, and/or a Relational Data Base Management System, and/or experience modeling would be welcome.
