Dear friends and colleagues!

We are very excited to announce the programme for the The XXI International
NKF Congress: IIC-Nordic Group: Cultural heritage facing catastrophe:
Prevention and recoveries! The conference is to take place in beautiful
Iceland on September 26th – 28th 2018.

Early bird registration closes on June 26th. The number of participants is
limited, don’t miss the unique opportunity. Please make your arrangements
soon. All information is available on www.nkf2018.is

The theme of the congress is the impact of natural and man-made
catastrophes on cultural heritage and recoveries.

During the last few years, many of us have experienced disasters such as
earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, floods, building explosion and fires,
which have had a serious impact on our cultural heritage. An awakening has
taken place in the preventative actions illustrated by the amount of
professional documentation on the internet. The congress will be an
opportunity to share knowledge and experiences and/to improve the
protection of the cultural heritage.

The programme is full of very interesting and informative lectures and case
studies on subjects that consider us all.

We are looking forward to seeing you in Iceland in September!

With kind regards

NKF - Island
