As part of my training in Contemporary Art Conservation at the University of Amsterdam, I will be doing scientific research into the material effect of polishing pastes on high-gloss polyester surfaces. To design my testing procedure I would like to get an idea of which polishing pastes are used by conservators and how they are applied.
