Nominations are requested for the College Art Association/American Institute for Conservation Award for Distinction in Scholarship and Conservation. The CAA/AIC Award recognizes outstanding contributions by one or more persons who, individually or jointly, have enhanced understanding of art through the application of knowledge and experience in conservation, art history, and art. A nomination consists of a letter of support from the nominator that includes the nominator's identity, relationship to the nominee, how the nominator has been affected by the nominee's work, and why the nominee should be recognized for this particular award, as well as a short CV (approximately two pages) of the nominee. Additional letters of support from the nominee's colleagues, students and other professional contacts are encouraged. All materials should be sent to [email protected] by September 1, 2018. If you would like to discuss a nomination with the award committee before making a formal submission, please contact Rebecca Rushfield at [email protected]. ****** Unsubscribe by sending a message to [email protected] Searchable archives: http://cool.conservation-us.org/byform/mailing-lists/cdl/
