Photographs on Glass Symposium at the Art Gallery of Ontario, Toronto, Canada

This symposium will feature a day of lectures for photograph conservators and
general care-takers alike: the lectures will cover the history and production
of photographs on glass, and the history of glass, as it relates to
photography. Speakers will be Katharine Whitman, photograph conservator at the
AGO, Stephen Koob, head of glass conservation at the Corning Museum of Glass in
Corning, New York, and Sophie Hackett, curator of photographs at the AGO.
There will also be an expert panel discussion including Lisa Ellis, AGO
conservator of sculpture and decorative arts, Sophie Hackett, Stephen Koob and
Katharine Whitman on glass and photographs in the AGO collection.

Symposium Details and Cost:
Limited to 50 participants. SPACE IS LIMITED
Registration Fee: Includes a full day of lectures and a discussion panel.
Morning and afternoon coffee breaks are included, but lunch is not. A list of
local restaurants will be provided.
