Subject: Icon seeking to understand international interest in PACR Accreditation Icon has received a number of requests for information on becoming accredited from professional conservators outside of the UK. At this stage we are seeking to gauge the level of interest to ensure that we are able to provide appropriate advice and support. Regardless of where the assessment would take place, Icon is committed to ensuring that the process of becoming accredited is the same as it is in the UK - individuals must be Associate members of Icon and the assessment will involve two trained assessors undertaking the professional practice assessment face to face. Please note candidates who are being assessed outside of the UK may have to pay a higher rate to cover the additional travel and subsistence expenses*.
