The International Conference - Emerging Technology and Innovation for the Conservation of Cultural Heritage - ETICCH, with the theme The Cultural Object: From Investigation to Restoration, will be host on 11-13 September, 2019, Sibiu, at ASTRA Centre for Heritage, in the Open Air Museum. At its 6th Edition, the challenge of the conference is to strengthen the dialogue between science and practice, between research and application, between investigation and restoration. The organizers welcome all the professionals in the field of cultural heritage study and protection, encouraging more than ever the creation of a space for effective collaboration and learning. Participants will have the opportunity to attend the lectures of well-known conservation scientists and restorers from Romania and abroad, to interact with tutors during demonstrative workshops and present their own research and results. A separate competition-section will be organised for selecting the best Master or PhD research. More information will be soon available on the ASTRA Museum website.
