I am working with scanning electron microscopy/energy dispersive x-ray
spectroscopy of waterlogged wood that was treated with polyethylene glycol
(PEG) decades ago. Is anyone aware of or using a marker for PEG in imaging
studies? Preliminary research has suggested the Vasa has had some developments
in mapping PEG through extraction and chemical analysis, but I am hoping to
find something that I can use for imaging.

I appreciate any suggestions!
