This symposium will highlight the latest studies and discoveries pertaining
to the scientific study and analysis of cultural heritage, including
ceramics, paintings, sculpture, archaeological finds and immobile works.
This symposium will feature the newest findings surrounding the technology,
engineering and materials associated with art, archaeology and global
cultural heritage, including studies of pigments, ceramics, glass, metals
and organic materials; not only materials of the Pacific Rim but from
across the world. Also, submissions that explore innovative approaches to
training and learning at the intersection of engineering, science,
technology and cultural heritage are most welcome. All submissions that
pertain to the scientific study of cultural heritage, or advance its
understanding and preservation, will be considered.

This solicitation is purposefully broad to bring together academics,
archaeologists, museum scientists and industry representatives with folks
interested in cultural heritage for an exchange of ideas regarding material
