Petra Nirmaier asked about washable or recyclable dust covers. In the UK we frequently use Tyvek fabric - a non-woven, spunbonded polyolefin fabric (like polythene fibres) which is waterproof but breathable, washable, sewable, has a non-static finish on one side which encourages dust to fall off and does not melt into drips of plastic in a fire - it vaporises. In the UK it comes in 1.5m and 3 m widths as standard. Hope this is useful
