The Society of Gilders 2019 conference is in its final week of registration
(ending May 15).

Held this year at Macalester College, in St. Paul, MN, June 17-21, 2019,
the conference consists of morning lectures, intensive, professional level
classes, a field trip to the Midwest Conservation Art Center (MACC),
evening social activities, and a weeklong community project. Classes
include: traditional water gilding, toning the water gilded surface,
sgraffito, granito & pastiglia, oil gilding, verre églomisé, book edge
gilding, gold tooling on leather, and other topics. Members of the Society
of Gilders receive tuition and registration breaks. Membership is open to
all, as is the conference. Regular registration ends May 15, 2019. Some
classes will offer an extended registration but late fees apply. To
