Objet : double sided tape We've been Oddy and GCMS testing double sided tapes. Most are posted here with 'MMA' as the tester. My recollection is that some of the Tesa tapes performed fairly well via the Oddy test. We've tried to list bonding strength and structure to help with selection. To me the adhesive seemed a lot stickier and softer... when used with Mylar also it seems different, gooey if you like ...and I noticed as you have that the carrier seems stretchy and more difficult to pull off. .. I thought maybe I had received an old stock...Possibly the carrier (if different) has affected the adhesive also? It might be time for a retest of both elements in this product. Perhaps there has been a change in production.
