Based on the discussion and feedback we have received, we have made some additions and edits that were achievable for this year’s survey but you will be familiar with most of the questions and the format. By far, we received the most urgent feedback that the Digital Preservation section needs to be overhauled, which we plan to do for FY2019. For this section, we would like to put out a call for guest Editors whose specialty is this area. Highlights about the FY2018 survey that are new: * Open survey time: July 1 to August 12 We are returning to shorter survey time because based on the survey data, the lengthened availability did not positively affect number of completed surveys. * *NEW Preservation Unit Staffing & Budget: Based on last year’s feedback, we are piloting a new section.
