Personally, I do not favour testing objects in a humidity chamber as I believe 
it causes unnecessary damage by promoting corrosion. I prefer to treat objects 
that I suspect contain hidden cuprous chloride (which oxidises to cause bronze 
disease) by soaking them in warm (60 deg) deionised water and monitoring the 
increase in conductivity that occurs as the cuprous chloride is hydrolysed to 
form red cuprous oxide and dissolved chloride ions. I change the water every 
day until there is no further increase in conductivity, at which point all the 
cuprous chloride should have been hydrolysed. The object can then be dried and 
lacquered if desired. I don't usually use benzotriazole.
