LAST WEEK OF EARLY BIRD BOOKING FOR RECENT ADVANCES IN GLASS AND CERAMICS
CONSERVATION CONFERENCE

Time is running out to secure your place at the Early Bird rate at the
Recent Advances in Glass and Ceramics Conservation conference, to be held
at the
British Museum between 5 and 7 September 2019.

Until 15th July, delegates can benefit from a discounted fee (ICON/ICOM-CC
Members: 200 GBP /Non-members: 250 GBP, Student ICOM-CC/ICON Member: 150
GBP).

This event is jointly organised by Icon’s Ceramics and Glass Group and the
Glass and Ceramics Working Group of ICOM-CC. The conference marks the 5th
Interim Meeting of ICOM-CC Glass and Ceramics and the 34th year of
dedicated events from Icon's Ceramics and Glass Group.

CONFERENCE DINNER:

It is now also possible to book a place at the conference dinner, which will
be held on Friday 6 September at 116 Pall Mall, a spectacular Georgian building
located in the exclusive St James district of London.

TOURS:

The conference includes a fantastic range of tours specially arranged for
delegates, which can now also be booked on the conference webpage. These
include: the Wallace Collection; the V&A Glass and Ceramics galleries;
Fenton House; Leighton House; Museum of London Archaeological Archive; the
British Museum CGM and Stone Conservation Studio; the British Museum
Islamic Galleries; the Contemporary Ceramics Centre and a walking tour of
conservation supply stores Cornelissen, Russell & Chapple and Tiranti. The
tours will take place on 4 September.
