I am endeavouring to remove dog urine stains from a polar bear rug. The stains
have been there for at least 20 years. I have tried upholstery cleaning foam,
ethanol, synperonic and warm water, commercial stain remover, then white
vinegar, dilute ammonium hydroxide, even dilute hydrogen peroxide. None have
had any noticeable result and I don't wish to try anything that might
compromise the fur later on. Any suggestions would be most welcome.
