Icon's Board of 16 comprises a majority of professional conservators and a number of Co-opted Trustees from outside the field, who are not members of Icon. Icon’s Trustees have ultimate responsibility for the organisation and are both charity trustees and the directors of the charitable company. We particularly welcome applicants who have experience in some of these areas: Financial management, either in a commercial or charitable environment, including familiarity with management accounts, financial risk and project finance; Fund raising, with experience with fundraising, donations, legacies and membership campaigns; Marketing communications, including social media; and Organisational change, as Icon addresses future opportunities and challenges.
