Undercured cast resin sculptures
The sculpture conservation lab of the Queensland Art Gallery/Gallery of Modern
Art is looking to get in contact with conservators who have dealt with cast
resin sculptures that have an undercured or tacky surface, attracting dirt and
causing (matte) imprints. We are doing research into material degradation and
treatment options (especially cleaning) and would like to hear from people who
have encountered similar issues or have done research into this area.
Thanks in advance,
Hedwig Braam
