Subject: Invitation to Inaugural NYC ECPN Forum (Hybrid – Saturday, March 28)

Dear all,
We, the New York City Emerging Conservation Professional Network (NYC ECPN)
Co-Liaisons, are excited to announce the inaugural NYC ECPN Forum (hybrid),
which will be held on
Saturday, March 28, 2026 (2-7 pm ET).
We warmly invite everyone to attend, in-person at Pier 57
<https://pier57nyc.com/market-57/> or virtually via Zoom, to support our
presenters and engage in a meaningful exchange of ideas and feedback.
Presentations will be given from 2-5 pm ET, followed by a celebration from 5-7
pm ET.
This forum is designed to provide emerging conservators and conservation
students with a welcoming space to share their projects and experiences.
Therefore, we are hosting this ECPN Forum to offer ECPs a professional yet
friendly venue to develop, present, and discuss their ideas, experiences, and
research. Our presenters, who are emerging conservation professionals in early
stages of their careers, prepared eight 10-minute talks and four 3-minute talks
with diverse subjects in various specialties from treatment and technical art
history to material study and scientific analysis.
Due to limited seating, you must fill out this form to request an in-person
seat:
https://forms.gle/sgX5hiDdXUmBRttA8 <https://forms.gle/sgX5hiDdXUmBRttA8>
We will also livestream the event, and you can fill out this form to request
the Zoom link:
https://forms.gle/uNYuxGbmNhWivzSM8 <https://forms.gle/uNYuxGbmNhWivzSM8>
At 5 pm ET, everyone, including those who cannot attend in person due to a
shortage of seats, is welcome to join for a celebration and mingling. The
Seahorse Classroom, our event venue, will open until 6:30 pm, but the food hall
at Pier 57 (Market 57 <https://pier57nyc.com/market-57/>) will remain open
until 7 pm.
