The position includes assisting with outdoor sculpture treatments at least two days per week, including preparing equipment, packing for projects, driving the company van, assisting with on-site conservation under supervision, working on scaffolding, operating boom and scissor lifts, and handling conservation tools and equipment. Training will be provided. Studio responsibilities include artwork handling, packing and tracking collections, assisting with deliveries and installations, monitoring the anoxic pest management program, supporting facility operations, and assisting conservators with treatments and other projects as needed. The position is full time, 4 or 5 days per week with benefits. Compensation and Benefits: The wage range for this position is $31.49-$33.41 per hour. Preservation Arts offers 100% healthcare and dental coverage for employees, optional Vision, and a health and dependent care FSA. Employees are eligible to enroll in the company’s 401(k) plan after 6 months of employment with an automatic 3% company contribution and additional profit sharing and pension contributions. International Workshop on Imaging techniques for Documentation, Research and Conservation of Cultural Heritage More about IMAGO: The use of non-invasive and portable imaging techniques has seen a growth in study, methodologies and technological innovation in recent decades. Focused on cultural heritage, the application of these techniques provides data for a global and punctual analysis of the structure, the technique, alterations, modifications by ancient treatments, or simulation of the results by new treatments. The information produced has presented a challenge in its management, accessibility, safeguarding; as well as the definition and fine-tuning of its use in accordance with the infrastructure, aims, and axes by the institutions of carrying out Documentation, Research and Conservation of Cultural Heritage.
