Hi Tanya, Yes, I should modify what I said: Dances that require a swing ending on a particular side, because of choreography and progression.
What you're saying is absolutely accurate - I just called a few dances at a private event last weekend, and at least one dance was similar, where you swing your partner but side doesn't matter. What I was pointing out is that these barn dances don't match up necessarily with a list of dances where the role doesn't need to be used in the prompting.
